The national portrait gallery is doing an exhibition show casing americans who are gay/lesbian or historians believe to be. The gallery includes Whorhal's '“Camouflage Self-Portrait (Red)” (1986) and Eakins’s “Salutat” (1898), an image of a male boxer.'
Its an interesting as it gives us more of a look through the artists window and shows societies ever changing view of gay america
